Key Focus Australia's sponsorship program provides on-going support to emerging young musicians.

We sponsor young singer songwriters to assist them with their musical career aspirations. The funds from this scholarship are earmarked, to assist the selected artists in the production and promotion of a new recording projects of their original material.

The current recipient of the scholarship, is singer song writer Sam Brittain from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. A hard copy of his debut scholarship album, "Our Shining Skin" is available through this website.

After more than six months in the studio, Sam has completed writing and recording his second CD "Live Simply". With the help of many talented friends, Sam had produced another colourful, varied and well crafted album of original songs. Folk, blues, country, roots, it is hard to place Sam's music in any one category; he's just so versatile.

"Live Simply" will be launched on 9 May 2014 at Revolver Bandroom in Melbourne. Sam will then spend the next six months touring both Australia and Europe performing his music.

During 2015 Sam has continued to build on his solo career. His intense schedule of gigging and busking around the country has seen Sam become a well-recognised face on the streets of numerous Australian cities. His inspirational songs, passionate delivery and unique captivating style has seen Sam’s popularity continue to grow throughout 2015.

As the cold winter months set in, Sam has left the Australian shores to embark on his second European Tour. Over the months of July and August 2015 Sam will visit a range of locations in Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands including Berlin, Rosenheim, Munich, Galway, Dublin,and Ameland.

On his return to Australia, Sam will head for the studio to commence recording his third solo album "Signal Lights" which will be due for release on 4 June 2016.
